  1. no matter what you buy, make sure to break them in before your trip. you will be doing a lot of walking, and you don’t want to ruin your vacation because your feet hurt. have fun!!

  2. women’s “curves” are sooo very comfy!

  3. The most comfortable ones you can. Be sure to break them in before you go…They should support your feet, you’ll be on them enough.

The coolest, most comfortable one you own, if you plan on doing water parks, bring water shoes also. I would no wear brand new shoes, make sure they are broke in, you will be doing lots of walking and even more standing on concrete.

  5. Something that can handle our sudden summer rains without turning into soaking wet, cold, nasty, slimy yucks on the ends of your feet for the rest of the day. And sox to match. At one end of the spectrum is hiking boots with “stay comfy” synthetic sox AND liner sox. Carry an extra set of sox just in case. At the other end is sandals, again made of some material other than leather or cotton canvas so as not to get soaked and stay soaked. Look for sandals that can be worn with out without sox, as it can be ARCTIC cold standing in line.
When you hear about “showers” in Florida, think of what northerners would call “a sudden cloudburst.” Since nearly all of our rains are like this, we don’t use a special word for it. But do not think of the gentle 6 hour showers you have up north. Think of 40 minutes of drenching, pounding downpour bursting from a sky that was blue 5 minutes ago. The good side is that an hour after it starts you can’t even tell it rained. The clouds disappear, the sun comes out, and it’s as hot and humid as before.

  6. Women’s walking shoes, sneaker style. You might also want to buy some walking sandals with arch support like Tevas or Birkenstock’s that strap on to your feet. That way you won’t have to wear the same shoes everyday. When I go in the winter I bring two pairs of sneakers with arch supports so I can alternate. I was there in December for 7 days, wore the same shoes everyday and by the end of the week had a terrible case of athlete’s foot and so much ankle pain. Two pairs of shoes is a must.

  7. im gonna sound like a 5 yeard in this but who cares. my mommy was having knee problems a few weeks before we left for disney so she bought blue and green reeboks and she’s never taken them off since

  8. new balance

  9. Buy disney crocs, there super cute & comfy!, the little Mickey holes let your feet breath through Orlando’s heat and humidity. There many colors to choose from and cost about $35.

  10. Disney Crocs!

  12. I second the recommendation that you buy them now and give yourself plenty of time to break them in thoroughly.
I love both my Teve sandals and my Merrell sandals and have walked many a Disney mile in both pairs. My husband, son, and sister love their Keen sandals.

  13. Bring 2 pairs of shoes (in case one gets wet you can wear the others while they’re drying).
For some great comfy sandals – check out Dansko brand shoes – they are excellent and incredibly comfy. Tennis shoes have a tendency to get extremely warm on your feet in June – I’d stick with sandals.
To get a great deal on a pair of Dansko’s check out Ebay – type in to search on dansko lolita.

  14. Whatever you use take an extra pair of socks…in case you walk around druing one of our famous thunder showers and your tootsies get soaked…u can put on a dry pair of socks…
