the shoe is very basic and wholesome- the oatmeal of footwear.
The fit is comfy and feels like walking on pillows. My only problem was not with the shoe, but that I was sent the wrong size. I ordered 10 and was given an 11!!!
The price of the shoe was so low that it didn’t make sense to ship it back, and by the time I received them the shoe was out of stock in my size, so I wore the too big size for a while…
I purchased these shoes for my mother-in-law who is 88 and needs velcro closure for her shoes. She wanted a tan color and these are pebbled leather. Overall, this shoe fit the bill and the price was unbeatable. Recommend for those in the market for this type of shoe – she paid over $100 for this type of shoe at a local shoe store.
I bought this shoe to replace a style of another brand that is no longer made; I had previously bought a pair of Propet walking shoes and was amazed at the comfort and stability. You would think that since this shoe hasn’t got a thick outer sole that it would not be as comfortable—wrong. My feet, hips and back did NOT hurt all day and kept me balanced. The price was also incredible, knowing that at least I will get $18.00 out of them.
I am also a HUGE Merrell fan, with several pairs of shoes and sandals, but Propet is almost as comfortable. Amazon makes Propet very affordable, so give them a try.
The Propet Women’s Valley Walker have been a disappointment. I really don’t find them comfortable. Not enough cushion.
I love these shoes! I’ve been wearing them for years now, and wouldn’t want to make a change. They are comfortable, good looking, and very practical.
